There has been an increase in cyber attacks targeting Lithuania in the run-up to the NATO summit, causing some websites and mobile apps to go down.
Mobile and internet service provider Telia reported on Monday an increase in calls on Telegram channels for attacks on various Lithuanian state institutions and companies. The company’s experts are monitoring a spike in DDoS attacks on Lithuania’s largest internet network, which has temporarily affected several companies and municipal organisations.
